KickStart Scheme is a £2 billion fund to create high-quality 6-month work placements for young people. Funding available for each job will cover the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, plus employer National Insurance contributions and minimum automatic enrolment contributions. We are supporting the Department for Work & Pensions and the government to help small businesses get involved in the KickStart Scheme. Businesses who want to create fewer than 30 placements can do so via White Lantern Film. If you are interested in accessing the Kickstart Scheme, please provide us with information on your business/organisation and the placements you would like to offer by registering with us for free.
Our BFI funded film academy inspires young people aged 16 – 19 years to learn about films and kick-start their cinematic film careers.
